Unlike a lot of tent cots in this list, it’s uncovered so you won’t want to use this all by itself unless you’re sure that the weather is going to hold!
Over the course of the weekend, we had some mixed weather so I spent one night with this cot under the safety of my tent and one night out under the stars.
The cot performed admirably in both situations. It was comfy and there was room for even my over-sized frame! Sometimes I don’t have that luxury in hotels, let alone tents!

The aluminium collapsible frame allows this cot to be folded down to an impressive 48.5″ x 33.5″ x 8″ while still allowing plenty of space for two people when unfolded.
The Winterial Double Outdoor Tent Cot has some great rollable doors and windows with insect free mesh lining so you can sleep insect-free however it also allows a breeze to come through your tent cot for a cool night sleep in the summer.
My favourite part of this tent cot is the speed at which it can be assembled. I managed to get it set up on my own within a couple of minutes and once it was set up, it held pretty firm throughout the weekend. This cot can handle up to 500lbs which was plenty for me!
If you’re looking for a reliable tent cot, but want to go for a brand that isn’t Kamp-Rite, then this is a great cot choice for you.

In comparison to other tent cots, this one is highly compactable which makes it a great option if you don’t have much space in your car. It’s packed size is 124 x 81 x 20 cm and comes with a carry bag for easy storage. Out of the bag, the tent cot is actually quick large and can comfortably fit taller people.
The tent is designed with a two-layer structure, with the inner tent having openings on all four sides. It has two doors and two windows with micro mosquito meshing for protection and ventilation. When using the rainfly, you’re left with two doors. However, the ventilation is greatly reduced when the second layer is used.
The aluminium frame is highly durable and keeps you 12 inches above the ground. The frame will not sink regardless of the terrain, thus, you can literally set up this tent cot anywhere you’d like.
